Celebrities on Steroids

People were shocked to learn that some of their favorite MLB athletes had been juicing with anabolic steroids, allowing them to break homerun records. Believe it or not, there are plenty of Hollywood celebrities on steroids who juice all the time in order to maintain their fit, young-looking physiques.

Although there is no concrete evidence that the celebrities below use steroids, those insane physique changes had to come from somewhere.

Christian Bale

Christian Bale plays roles that just creep us out, and he transforms his body completely to fit those roles well. Consider his 2004 role in “The Machinist”, for example. For this film, Bale told Charlie Rose that he lost 63 pounds to fit that role.

No, that skinny frame was not CGI, and yes, those were really Bale’s ribs. However, not even a year later, Bale was 100 pounds heavier – and quite buff – when he appeared in “Batman Begins”.

If Bale did it with diet and Exercise alone, then he has the best genetics in the entire world. Chances are good that he had a little chemical help, though.

Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal has had an up-and-down career. Some of his films are hits; others are complete flops.

As of late, people are beginning to wonder whether they should add Gyllenhaal’s name to the list of suspected actors Juicing. He lost weight off of his average frame for “Nightcrawler”, and not even a year later, he played a ripped boxing sensation in “Southpaw”.

Gyllenhaal’s people deny that he used any kind of chemical enhancement, claiming that he trained twice per day, seven days a week, for months on end. Most people would never achieve those results, and many suspect that Gyllenhaal had some help.Celebrities on Steroids

Hugh Jackman

If you are a Hugh Jackman fan, then you probably already know that his weight fluctuates somewhat based on the role he plays. He can be thin and toned, and he can even be a bit chunky when the situation calls for it.

However, there are a few things that make Jackman a prime suspect when it comes to actors juicing for their roles. Jackman played a British aristocrat in a Woody Allen film called “Scoop”.

He maintained an average build that suited the character, and he played his part well. Not even two months later on the set of X-Men 3, you could see a buff Jackman with muscles bulging and veins popping. It is highly unlikely that a transformation of that magnitude was natural.

Charlie Sheen

Not to dredge up old news, but Charlie Sheen seems to be one of Hollywood’s favorite bad boys. Although he has never openly admitted to being one of the actors juicing during the late 80s and early 90s, most people have their suspicions – and justifiably so.

Sheen went from downright skinny in “Wall Street” to Pumped beyond belief in “Hot Shots! Part Deux” in only five months. Although his people claim that he did it with diet and exercise, the bodybuilders of the world know better. That kind of mass is impossible in that period of time without some chemical help, and with Sheen’s history of drug use, it is not surprising in the least.

Dr. Dre

Making his debut in the 1990s as one of the world’s most well-known rappers, Dr. Dre has enjoyed quite the career. Back in the 90s, his fame and fortune came with plenty of self-indulgence, and there were times when the “Doctor” seemed to disregard his health and weight.

However, during the 2015 VMA’s, he was incredibly buff with his shoulder muscles taking center stage behind a dark sweater. Though he has never openly admitted to using steroids, he does claim to spend hours each day in the Gym lifting weights. It’s reported that he went from 29% body fat to 6% body fat in just a few years, which is quite the accomplishment.

Carrot Top

Love him or hate him, Carrot Top is comedian well-known for his head of unruly red hair. Once upon a time, his prop comedy provided laugh-until-you-cry entertainment, and his recognizable face could be found on TV specials and sitcom cameos frequently. After a while, though, Carrot Top seemed to disappear from the limelight, resurfacing again a few years later as a regular on Criss Angel: Mindfreak.

It was obvious that Carrot Top had made some serious lifestyle changes, going from a scrawny, dorky redhead to a buff bodybuilder. Like most celebs on steroids, he’s never openly admitted to juicing. Judging by his Vascularity and size, though, many outlets claim he’s had some chemical assistance along the way.

Sylvester Stallone

Sly has been a staple on the silver screen for as long as most of us can remember, and he’s always been the “tough-guy” whether he’s playing Rocky or Rambo. Of course, Stallone claims he’s mastered the art of Working Out and eating right, and in his younger years, this made sense.

Now that he’s more than 70 years old, though, things start to seem a little off, and most people believe he’s a prime example of celebrities on steroids. His Testosterone levels are far lower than they were in his Rambo days, which makes many people wonder how he’s maintaining his bulk.

He was charged with illegally importing HGH in 2007, but HGH alone won’t provide a Sly-like Physique. He pled guilty to possessing HGH and testosterone, so there’s likely more to that story.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnie is probably the world’s most well-known example of celebrities on steroids, and he’s one of the only one who will openly admit to using them without any sense of shame. A seven-time Mr. Olympia winner and former politician, Scwarzenegger claims to have used substances like Dianabol and Winstrol back in the 1970s, before they became controlled substances.

When asked if he feels like he “cheated” his way to his titles, Arnie says no, and claims that back in those days, everyone used steroids. They simply didn’t have the same negative social stigma they do today.

While it’s difficult to prove there are celebrities on steroids because they do such a good job of hiding it (and because their PR people do a good job of covering it up), the pictures and physique changes certainly don’t lie. While a few of these celebrities may have achieved their goals naturally, there’s a very good chance they were using gear.
