After a summer spent under the sun’s warm glow, fall skin care is all about reversing some of the effects of perhaps a little too much fun in the sun by brightening and evening out the complexion. If you aren’t already using a vitamin C serum in your skin-care regimen, you might want to incorporate one, as it’s one of the most dermatologist-recommended skin-care products for boosting skin health through its rich antioxidant content, supporting collagen production, and creating an overall glow-up on lackluster complexions. And the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C Turmeric Face Oil is one of my personal go-to formulas for my dry, dull skin.

If you’re new to Sunday Riley, the cult-favorite skin-care brand honestly makes some of the best serums I have ever tried—they’re seriously like facials in a bottle. However, they do run a bit pricey, and a full-size bottle of the Sunday Riley C.E.O. serum can set you back around $80 a pop. That being said, right now is one of the best times to snag this coveted formula, as a mini 0.5-ounce version is just $30 during the QVC Big Beauty Sale through August 27. This way, you can test it out for a nice price before you commit to a full bottle.

As someone with seemingly chronic dry skin, I am always on the lookout for formulas that don’t just hydrate and nourish, but also effectively slough away dry, dead skin cells and brighten my lackluster complexion. This is especially true post-summer as I, admittedly, love the sun and tend to deal with some extra parched skin from the dry Los Angeles weather. I love the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C Turmeric Face Oil because of its vitamin C benefits—which include brightening, firming, and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles—plus its inclusion of golden turmeric oil for reducing redness and evening out the skin tone.

The vitamin C serum also features a blend of ginger root extract and bisabolol, which adds to the formula’s skin toning efforts, while also reducing the look of sensitivity. Additionally, this face serum features a cold-pressed red raspberry oil and evening primrose seed oil base, providing deep nourishment and adding to its glowing benefits.

When using this formula regularly, I notice that my skin tone has a more even appearance, my complexion feels much smoother, and my skin looks more nourished and supple. As a result, my usually dry, dull skin has a natural-looking glow with a radiant and more youthful-looking effect. It’s really worth every penny.
